Getting there, Delta flies direct out of Atlanta this is a super easy way to get there and back.
Bonaire is a small island found off the coast of South America. It is a paradise for divers known for its easily accessible shore diving and beautiful reefs. You will find seahorse, nudibranch, tarpon, turtles, squid, stingrays, and lots of eels. Island residents are friendly, easy-going folks and English is widely spoken. The US dollar is the official currency on Bonaire.
We will be staying in condos at the Sand Dollar Resort. All units have full kitchens, TV, and one bathroom per bedroom (the bathrooms are large). Price includes 6 days of unlimited shore dives, free nitrox, free internet in all condos, 7 day rental dive truck, and shore diving class.
The Sand Dollar property features a number of amenities including several access ladders to the ocean, a pool, a seaside grilling area, lighted tennis courts, Eddy's Restaurant and Pool Bar, ice cream parlor, mini-mart, internet café, gift shop and day spa.
The on-site dive operation is Dive Friends Bonaire, a full-service dive shop with nitrox. Dive Friends Bonaire has five locations which makes tank pick-up for shore diving a snap. You can pick up and drop off tanks at any of the Dive Friends locations, so you don't have to come back to home base to get more tanks.
The "house reef" holds the #1 position for the largest variety of species surveyed on any reef in the Caribbean.
